DIY Handmade Soap Recipe for Beginners with 3CayG Oils and Butter

Are you interested in making your own handmade soap? Making soap is a fun and rewarding activity that allows you to create a product that is customized to your preferences. Not only that, but you'll have the satisfaction of using a product that you've made yourself.

If you're new to soapmaking, it can seem overwhelming at first. That's why we've created a simple recipe that's perfect for beginners. Using just a few ingredients, including 3CayG coconut oil, olive oil, and shea butter, you'll be able to make a moisturizing and gentle soap that's perfect for daily use.

Here's what you'll need to get started:

 Instructions:

First, put on gloves and protective eyewear to ensure your safety during the soapmaking process.

    1. Weigh out the lye and water separately.

    2. Slowly add the lye to the water while stirring until it is completely dissolved. Be careful not to inhale the fumes.

    3. Set the lye solution aside to cool while you prepare the oils and butter.

    4. Melt the coconut oil and shea butter in a pot on low heat, then add the olive oil and stir until well combined.

    5. Once both the lye solution and the oils and butter mixture have cooled to around 100°F, slowly pour the lye solution into the oils and butter while stirring continuously.

    6. Keep stirring until the mixture reaches "trace," which means it thickens and becomes opaque. You can use a hand blender to speed up this process.

    7. Once you reach trace, pour the soap mixture into a soap mold.

    8. Cover the mold with a piece of cardboard or a lid and wrap it in a towel or blanket to keep it warm.

    9. Let the soap sit in the mold for 24-48 hours to harden and cool.

    10. Once the soap has hardened, remove it from the mold and cut it into bars.

    11. Allow the soap to cure for 4-6 weeks before using it. This will allow the excess water to evaporate, making the soap harder and longer-lasting

By following this recipe, you'll be able to make a moisturizing and gentle soap that's perfect for daily use. It's a great way to get started in the world of soapmaking and experiment with different oils and ingredients. Plus, by using 3CayG coconut oil, olive oil, and shea butter, you'll know you're using high-quality ingredients. Have fun and happy soapmaking!
